Celebrating ESG Edge 2024: Recognition That Matters

Last night’s ESG Edge Awards 2024 brought together some of the most forward-thinking organisations in UK real estate — and we were proud to be part of it.

Oparo was shortlisted for both ESG Investor of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in ESG, alongside an impressive group of peers including AXA IM Alts, Bridges Fund Management, Civitas Investment Management, Harrison Street, and Octopus Real Estate.

We didn’t take home the trophy this year, but being recognised among such respected names is a huge achievement in itself. Oparo started with a simple belief: that technology, data, and purpose could come together to change how investment in housing works. That belief has taken us from a small team with big ideas to standing shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the industry’s most established players.

Our REACT and RAM platforms continue to prove that ESG isn’t just a report or a policy — it’s a way of operating. They help partners and investors make smarter decisions, manage homes more efficiently, and measure the social outcomes that matter most. Real impact comes from doing, not just talking about it.

The evening wasn’t really about competition, it was about community.

It was inspiring to see so many people working towards a more responsible, sustainable and human version of real estate. That’s exactly the movement Oparo was built to be part of.
